Two new site developments:
The Showerometer: Rhymes with barometer. This is a small indicator at the top of the home page that displays the current shower situation. What is this good for? Well, it’s mainly for Jennifer’s benefit, so she can get a feel for how things are going at home. Otherwise, it could be cynically described as a Feel-sorry-for-ben-o-meter.
[Editor’s Note: The Showerometer was discontinued after Trixie started taking naps of a predictable length, and I was able to get a shower on a regular basis.]
Shutterfly.com: Now available. Order high-quality photos of your favorite Trixie Picture of the Day and have them delivered to your door. Prices are as follows. The lower price is available with a Pre-Paid Print Plan:
| Size | Price |
| 4×6 | $0.39 - $0.25 |
| 5×7 | $0.99 - $0.79 |
| Wallet (4) | $1.79 - $1.49 |
| 8×10 | $3.99 - $3.19 |
I’ve ordered prints from Shutterfly before and I’m happy with the quality. Their site is pretty good at explaining how to order; you just follow the prompts - the process will walk you through the steps.

The permanent link to the Shutterfly photos can be found on the TPOD monthly archive page (for example: September 2003) which you get to from the bottom on the TPOD home page.
[Editor’s Note: I have discontinued the shutterfly experiment. Most people seemed happy enough printing straight from their browser.]

Of course I’m hooked on TTU and to justify my daily ritual of checking the site as soon as I get to the office, I will provide you with an art historical context for TTU. In 1973-79 artist Mary Kelly analyzed her baby son’s feeding/pooping activities in a large installation entitled _Post-Partum Document_. (see www.gfound.or.at/RUECK/altpro/kelly_e.htm) for photos and further info.) Critics thought the work was significant for its feminist, psychoanalytical, and Lacanian content, and the piece fit right in with other goings-on in 1970s postmodern thought. Anywho, thinking about the comparison highlights all of the differences between the two projects (for ex., gender, media, style), as well as TTU’s success!
Grade A work!! Love, Auntie S.

Even having received a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Chicago, I still don’t really know what Lacanian content or 1970s postmodernism is. However, I do appreciate the description of her data collection as “quasi-scientific,” to which I can relate. Also, given your credentials in the field of art history, I feel honored to accept your “A”. Thanks!

Even though taking a shower at 11:51 this morning is an accomplishment, I still really feel that it’s not my best work. Having taken showers since the late 1970s, I know I can bring another dimension to my showering project, and will continue to document it on TTU.
