Trixie doesn’t have an opinion about whether we log her diapers — but you do! Weigh in on the controversy in the latest Trixie poll!

Yippee!!! 2 chances to vote in a week! What I’m wondering is whether TTU is a democratic blog - e.g., if the option of the site not having enough details, people wanting more (weight of each diaper, etc), gets the most votes, will you post more details? I’m going to organize a slate in hope that my vote really does count and there will be more details, such as exactly what color each poop is.

I just want to say I LOVE tTU- I think Trixie will be thrilled you did it when she gets older- I still complain that my parents couldn’t even fill out all of my baby book!
FYI- there was a story on “Sunday Morning” about a year ago about a father who stayed at home with his daughter and took a picture of her every day (sound familiar!)- although his were always with her on a black background and a white tshirt on- she was about 6 when they aired the story, and still doing it- he put the photos on this fast slideshow, showing about 10 per second- and you could actually see her grow! Your site reminds me of that- I think she’ll love looking back at herself at every stage!

As an expectant father, I find your website enrapturing. I am also eager to replicate some of your Trixie Telemetry for my Anticipated Aidan, due April 7; I had vague plans to do this fomenting in my head, but your implementation is light-years ahead of my imagination.

So I looked for a FAQ. I searched the site. I find vague hints that you have F-keys configured to log each Trixie-Event as it happens, but I find, as of yet, no mention of details or software.

Could you either point me to a URL where you’ve already discussed this, or discuss your machinations more thorougly somewhere here? I’d like to implement something similar, and I’d rather not reinvent the wheel to do it!

    Cheers,
