I’m getting really sick of having to post these notes about the site’s technical problems. Longtime readers are sick of them too, I’m sure.
Most of the problems stemmed from growing pains, which we’re constantly trying to address. Yesterday’s problem was totally the fault of my hosting company. They made a huge mistake and I apologize for their bad service. So why don’t I switch providers? At this point I am pouring so much work into other projects that I don’t even have the time to research other providers, nor do I want to mess with the headache of migrating the site. Basically I intend to move the site to another provider, but until I get a couple of free days, I’m just keeping my fingers crossed. Just thought I would lay out the situation if anyone wanted to know the details. thanks for sticking with us.
BTW, everything is working again.

Ben:
Just out of curiosity, what do you do when you’re not being a full-time dad and running the Trixie Update?

Trixie Tracker. I don’t talk about it here because I don’t want the Trixie Update to morph into a software development blog, but that’s what’s going on.

May I reccomend TextDrive? I’ve recently switched to them, and am quite pleased.

I just hope you don’t lose any important data. It was scary to see the page being redirected earlier!

Long time reader, first time commenter. Take a look at fatcow.com. I use them to host my site, and have been very pleased.

Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your website, and hope to do something like it when I have kids of my own. I featured your site on mine as the blog of the day. Feel free to come over and check things out.
