Close Up
This photo offers the opportunity to point out a few facial details normally not seen. First, though we try to keep them cut short, she can still manage to scratch herself on occasion with her fingernails. The dark speck under her right eye is a small scab that's just about healed. Second, on the right side of her nose, slightly above her eye-line, Trixie's only birth mark is visible. It's actually a vein just below the skin that creates a small pale blue dot, which given her middle name seems appropiate. It's probably not technically a birth mark since it's not on the surface, but she has had it since Day One, so that's what we call it. And lastly, you can see that Trixie does suffer from very mild baby acne likely caused by the hormones she gets in the breast milk.
