And i thought my picture of my son's blocking falling down mid air was impressive stop action :)

That is one of the coolest pictures I've ever seen! Someone asked in another thread - what kind of camera are you using? Just curious if it's digital or what! Keep 'em coming!

Holy poopedy diapers - Hurricane Trixie. Or Tsunami more like it. Who can believe such a little person can make such an event. She looks like she's spewing water out of her mouth (or sucking it in - I chose spewing out b/c she looks happy and I think she'd look sad if she were inhaling it).

Photography Notes:

I'm shooting with a small consumer grade digital Canon. The PowerShot S45. It looks like this. [link goes to DPreview - a fantastic digital camera resource]

It's a great outdoor compact and is moderately good with the indoor shots. These bath shots look nice in particular because there's a lot of extra light bouncing off all the tile and water.

I try to take photos when Trixie is doing something I haven't seen before or if I'm running out of TPODs. I also take a lot. The best way to get the perfect shot is to shoot everything and then edit, edit, edit. Sometimes it's a 20:1 ratio. But that's mainly because most shots involving Trixie are action shots. I don't even try to get her to cooperate with the composition, and she doesn't always smile at the camera. I just shoot and sort it out later.

Thank you, Ben. That's a neat looking little camera. I've looked back through the archives and you really do have some amazing pictures of Trixie on TTU. Thanks for sharing.

I'm 5 months pregnant right now and I fluctuate between being nervous and terrified. We were "trying" for only a few months and we're very happy and all, but pregnancy has been no picnic. Your website has been very comforting, believe it or not. Especially seeing you coping with the difficulties with such a sense of humor and so much love. This picture really makes me happy. I'm looking forward to bath time with our baby. Maybe I'll go take one myself right now...and splash a little.

Love this picture! Still, after a year, it's my (2nd) favorite. (I just adore Water Optional!) I always smile when I see this picture...and to think about how much joy Trixie was having. Makes me want to take a bath myself. Thanks, Ben, for OYAT TPOD's. It's so nice to see a snap shot from the past...ahh, the memories.

This is an amazing photograph. I love how the beads of water in the air almost look like crystal.

I love the site, and it is very obvious you love being a dad. As a dad-to-be I can only hope I can bring that much energy being a parent. Thanks for all your efforts, they are appreciated.
