What's important is the next shot in this sequence, which is the one accidentally triggered when BenMac realizes that's his daughter about to crawl over into the empty tub, drops the camera and goes to stop her.

But setting aside the fear issue... This is probably the best TPOD yet. Seriously.

Though I think if you did offer it to the market, it would end up on one of those goofy college girl posters with a trying-to-be-cute-but-let's-be-honest-kinda-insipid-caption quality. Next to the "hang in there" kitten.

And Trixie deserves better than that.

The secret of art is to simplify. This monochromatic wonderland is a triumph.

It's true, with shots like this you have to be ready to drop the camera, lunge and grab her. Fortunately I haven't lost a camera yet - or a baby.

Adorable, but I must ask: where are all the baby bath toys? The rubber duckies? The squirty frogs? The miniature colanders? Our bathroom hasn't looked this neat since 7/23/03 (when Maddie was born).

This is also my favorite TPOD of all time. I've even commented and linked back to this picture before when there are pics that remind me of this one. Absolutely adorable!

Thanks for the OYAT feature, Ben.

You should sell this picture to Hallmark, for a card like "Hang in there" or similar. It looks like it was posed, not spontaneous! She is going to be a model or actress because of your constant picture taking, I can tell!

Oops, just read FrumDad's comment....Maybe another comment like "Have you taken a bath lately?" to let a coworker know in a subtle way that they smell bad, along with some soap and deodorant....

Wow I love this picture! Thank you for the OYAT feature. The composition, the color, the anticipation ... all perfect. My favorite part: the sock that's halfway off. When my daughter was that age, we could NEVER keep socks on her feet.
