What do you use to do the thumbnail crop? Nice photo.

The thumbnail is the least automated part of the site. Each one is hand-cropped using Photoshop 5.5. (Trixie's diaper count may be up-to-date, but our software versions certainly aren't. And if there are any Illustrator users out there who want to talk about the horrors of anything later than 8.0, feel free to chime in.)
