aren't pillows and stuffed animals ok after 7 months or so as SIDS is no longer a factor?

careful with that wastebasket - arms reach can mean big mess dad . . . but the girl knows how to relax!

SIDS:
I think about 6-7 months is the rule of thumb. And we did our fair share of worrying about SIDS during that time, as I'm guessing all parents must.

But at a certain point, Trixie was easily rolling-over, pulling-up and just generally applying her muscles to her surroundings. Once she was doing that, it didn't seem necessary to worry anymore. (Which was good, because it was always a battle to get her to sleep on her back)

Erika:
This is why we kicked her out of our bed in the first place - she wouldn't stop kicking us!
