I post this here 'cause I can't think of where else to put it; it has nothing to do with the picture. (Although, btw, I don't get the caption. But it's (as usual) an excellent picture of a very cute kid.) I noticed the sleep log for last night. 11:30pm to 2:00am!! Thunderstorm? Late night dish breakage? More teething? Hope everyone's okay, and that the parents get a nap today. --FrumDad Posted by: FrumDad at May 19, 2004 11:15 AM

The caption refers to the cinematography of Triumph of the Will. Not the most ethical reference in the world, but I thought the camera angle and the gaze out to the horizon made this shot a good candidate for baby propaganda. As for the horrible night we had, it was more throwing up. We're thinking she *might* have an allergy to something. She's totally fine again this morning. No fever, happy as a clam and drinking the normal amount. Posted by: benmac at May 19, 2004 11:38 AM

Sorry about your night. Advice you didn't ask for: Check the freshness on things; her tummy is more sensitive than yours. We had that experience with a pot of soup that I left out for a while. Tasted and smelled fine to me, but Rachel reacted... well, you know the most famous scene in _The_Exorcist_? Like that. --FrumDad Posted by: FrumDad at May 20, 2004 10:29 AM
