I used to like squirrels too, before they started getting so bold. This is really nothing here. He's just biding his time, casing the joint, waiting for us. The rest of the time he's scratching at the storm floor trying to get in - or pacing back and forth on the window sill. At that distance you can see the fleas hopping around and the rabies dripping off his sharp little fangs. But I have no one to blame but myself. I started leaving nuts out for this guy last summer before I had a baby to play with. Even though I haven't put any out for probably 10 months, he still comes around. That's Chapel Hill for you. I always thought, when I was in college at UNC, that they should change the school mascot to a squirrel. We are overrun with them! Trixie looks like she wants to say, "Here he comes again, Dad!" Posted by: Kelli at June 29, 2004 10:12 AM
