Say it with ICE
No, this isn't Trixie being a good hostess by passing out drinks at her birthday. Despite all the excitement, company, presents and food, Trixie spent the better part of the party camped out at the ice bucket carefully picking through all the pieces. Remember how she likes the cold stuff? I've never seen her happier. Next year I'm just going to get her a big bag of ice for her birthday.Photo taken July 31th, 2004. | |

OMG - that is the cutest outfit. And it was color-coordinated with her ice cream cone cupcakes! Too cute. Glad Trixie had a good 1st birthday. Too bad she won't actually remember it - but at least she can look back at all the pics and notes you've kept! Posted by: Kelli at August 2, 2004 12:45 AM

What is the pink stuff in the lower left of the bucket of icy drinks? Posted by: Amanda at August 2, 2004 12:47 PM

I think the pink stuff is a bottle - how appropriate... Posted by: Kelli at August 2, 2004 01:13 PM

It was great to see her Saturday. i just hopes she likes the warm stuff as much as she enjoys eating ice. Posted by: Uncle Keith at August 2, 2004 01:15 PM

It looks like that's the Pepto-Bismol for anyone who has problems with green ice cream cone cupcakes, Amanda.... ;-) Happy Birthday, Trixie! And congratulations on surviving the first year, Ben & Jenn. May the average diapers-per-day trend ever lower. Posted by: Elizabeth at August 2, 2004 01:17 PM

I remembered seeing this picture some time ago, and it wasn't after my daughter did the same thing at her 1st birthday party, that I truly appreciated just how funny this was. Posted by: Michele at June 17, 2005 05:04 PM
