oh i love her expression!! that look of 'oh gee...if i was just a little bigger!' precious. truly precious. and kudos to both you and jen for letting her explore all the 'dangers'. how do kids learn without (supervised) discovery. im glad to see that im not the only parent that believes that children should be kept in bubbles. I can hear Trixie saying to herself..."Ohhhh water!" I'm reminded of my fav picture "Water Optional." (Sorry, don't know how to insert link HERE. done. -benmac) Her fascination for water is adorable. It wouldn't surprise me if she becomes great swimmer one day...stay tuned for the 2016 Olympics. Posted by: lori at August 12, 2004 10:27 AM

I hear you on 99.9 (excellent station!) here in SB, CA so here I am checking the site out. No where close to being a parent yet (29 and still single), but I enjoy the site and your love for your child. My parents were the type who didn't take pictures, they probably didn't even own a camera and still don't. I always wish I had reference material from when I was a baby and small child to look back upon. My mom died when I was 15 and my dad who partied too hard can't recall much so there goes that wish. Luckily I have an older brother and family friends who often tell me stories. One day I hope Trixie values this! This is a wonderful way to capture your daughter's young life!
