There is nothing like a baby fresh from the bath! And Frank looks pretty clean, too. Posted by: Maddie's Mom at September 23, 2004 12:18 AM

Frank is an Ugly Doll. You can see all of them at uglydolls.com. And there's also a huge list of places where you can get one of your own. (TTU locals: there's a store at the Weaver Street shopping center in Carrboro that carries them.) Posted by: benmac at September 23, 2004 12:46 PM

Seems that the Ugly Doll is pretty popular...Trixie's not the only 'famous baby' that has one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/snowdeal/233706/ I like the old TPOD with Trixie and Frank on Ben's chest and the caption "Hard to tell them apart." Wow, she sure has grown. Posted by: Kelli at September 23, 2004 12:51 PM

Looking back, Frank has been in quite a few TPODs: Posted by: benmac at September 23, 2004 01:08 PM

Awwww...that was wonderful to look back on Trixie and Frank's relationship! It's amazing to see how much Trixie has grown up in just a relatively short amount of time. You have a precious virtual scrapbook for her. Posted by: lori at September 23, 2004 03:07 PM

Look's like Frank's real name is "Babo" (a la ugly dolls website). I see why you (or Trixie??) changed it: Frank is clearly a better fit to his personality. Posted by: Leslie at September 23, 2004 04:47 PM

"Babo," Frank's birth name actually means "idiot" in Korean. I believe one of Frank's creators is Korean-American. She probably meant it affectionately. :) My little 13 month old girl has one too. Posted by: emma at September 23, 2004 05:04 PM

How adorable. I wonder where the security blanket came from? (We are in the market for one) Posted by: Daphne at September 23, 2004 06:51 PM

The security blanket is called a "Silky". It's the small travel-size one. Ours was a gift, but I think they can be found in baby stores. The company that makes them is Cherish and Joy, but I didn't find their website to be very useful. Posted by: benmac at September 23, 2004 07:14 PM

I have BABO too! Kinda funny because when my boyfriend (well former now) bought him, we named with Babo without even seeing his birth name on his tag. Babo was one of the things we used to call each other or something, so I thought it was freaky that the ex-boyfriend called Babo Babo without seeing his tag. Anyway, I was wondering have you washed Babo yet? Is he washer safe? The tag says surface washable but nothing about a washing machine. I don't want to hurt him at all...
