The mess at the end of the day
Come 6:00, the house is a wreck. Trixie's latest trick — lunging from the chair to the table — doesn't help matters.Photo taken October 7th, 2004. (In case anyone was wondering, from left to right, it's a paper towel holder, Tupperware container, Children's Benadryl, suction bulb, tip of a tube of sunscreen, Hyland's Teething Tablets, Children's Tylenol, and Aleve.) | |

We have been following ttu for about eight months and we feel compelled to share. We have a little boy who just turned one year. We find it comical that our counter in the kitchen looks like a mirror image of yours...guess we're not alone. Posted by: jonandcrys at October 8, 2004 12:48 AM

That doesn't surprise me at all. That's why I listed all the items in the thumbnail crop ahead of time. I figured there was a pretty good chance that readers would recognize a shape or bottle and want to confirm what it was. Also, thanks for sticking with us for so long! It's like a parent's survival kit. Throw everything into the tupperware and you are set! Posted by: Camille at October 8, 2004 05:41 PM

Hi Ben -- it's been several months since you described Trixie's first steps and even much longer since you told us about Trixie's putative speaking. You even gave us a soundtrack What's new in both these fronts? Is she running and doing cartwheels? Does she recite the Women's Lib credo every night before going to bed? That's a great trick! At their grandparents' place, one of mine learned how to jump from a chair and grab on to the kitchen island. Picture Indiana Jones in diapers. Posted by: Joe at October 12, 2004 12:47 PM

How did I miss this one? Just saw it and love it. I love the Trixie-in-action-as-troublemaker shots. Just the legs and feet are awesome. Posted by: hannah at October 28, 2004 03:55 PM
