Barnyard Animals
The farm from yesterday's TPOD only had a couple of goats. This one had more than you could count as well as pigs, emus, chickens and roosters. Trixie didn't know what to look at first.Photo taken October 10th, 2004. TTU locals: This is the view at Ganyard Hill Farm also known as Pumpkin Country. This is where you want to go if you have little kids. As soon as you get out of your car you're stumbling over poultry and pumpkins. It's free to see the barnyard animals. All the other (mostly hay-based) attractions are very reasonably -- and individually -- priced. Can't go wrong with that. Go have fun! | |

Keir cried when he had to leave here. There was a little brown goat that he made friends with, thus he was sad (and kicking and screaming) when it was time to go. I think we will have more of the same when we go to the State Fair to see the animals next weekend. Posted by: Shauna at October 12, 2004 07:07 AM
