Forget about the goats — this is the real attraction as far as Trixie is concerned. She was absolutely obsessed with this milking demo. We had to drag her away.

This is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Not the picture necessarily (Trixie is as adorable as ever) but jut the fact that something like this exists. Milking a cardboard cow. Will wonders never cease.

I'm with Erika here. A cut out cow that folks can milk! Wow! I especially like how Trixie is "sitting" on the milking stool!

I want to see a larger version of the inset smaller picture - I can't make out Trixie's expression, though I suspect she's doing that "Uh, uh, uh..." thing that toddlers do when they are being told to do something ("come on, let's go!") they don't want to do. :-)

Here's a larger version of the inset cow cut out photo. (file size: 300k)

We're telling Trixie not to drink the 'milk' which is actually not-very-clean-looking water.

Guess we're real hicks here in Upstate NY. Not only do we have plywood cows available for "milking" at the New York State Fair, we have plywood goats that can be milked as well!

Trixie, I'm sure, would have loved it!

That's really the best of both worlds. I'll send Trixie up next weekend :)

My 17 mo old daughter would love to have a visit from Trixie! :)

Alas, the Fair (http://www.nysfair.org/state_fair/2004/) is only 11 days long, and ended on Labor Day. Maybe next year?
