Oh this could be a really fun game. You could superimpose her photo all sorts of places. Winner gets framed photo of Trixie on location! The water, coat and grey skies are consistent with Trixie visiting out here in Seattle. But the photo lacks the requisite expresso stand so I guess not. Posted by: Leslie at October 26, 2004 01:00 AM

My guess is Chicago. Do I win? Posted by: Rozanne at October 26, 2004 02:10 AM

I have a feeling it's Baltimore. I went there last year to see the National Aquarium, and the waterfront looks like that a bit. First I thought maybe it was Boston, with Fenway Park in the background, but Fenway's not that close to the river, and that water doesn't really look like a river, anyway. A bay or ocean inlet is my guess (calm water, boats with sails). Posted by: bex at October 26, 2004 03:13 AM

I don't think it's Chicago - that doesn't look like either Belmont or Montrose harbors. Posted by: John at October 26, 2004 06:15 AM

My guess is also Baltimore. That looks like the sugar factory in the background. Posted by: Erika at October 26, 2004 06:49 AM

I live near Baltimore, and the greyness certainly looks like the weather we've had for the last week! Posted by: Becky at October 26, 2004 07:44 AM

Love the new coat--can't wait to see it in full length. I know where she is, but will not spoil the game for others--as I was with Jen yesterday... Posted by: Shauna at October 26, 2004 08:09 AM

I'm guessing Wilmington/Cape Fear. Posted by: guessing at October 26, 2004 08:31 AM

Leslie's right, that can't be Seattle. There's no barista, and besides it's too sunny. That's gotta be Baltimore. Posted by: Chris at October 26, 2004 08:33 AM

You should have a tour schedule so that Trixie's fans can meet her when she's in their hometown. We live outside of Baltimore, and I know my 14-month-old daughter would love to meet Trixie! (My husband thinks we're crazy, but we check to see what Trixie is up to every day.) Shawn S -- my guess is Canton, over by the Bay Cafe. Posted by: Miriam's mom at October 26, 2004 10:19 AM

It's Baltimore. That's the Domino's Sugar sign at top right. Posted by: Chrysostom at October 26, 2004 01:49 PM

Okay, this picture is cute and the thumbnail is cool, very David Lynch Eraserhead, but I must admit I was disappointed when I clicked on the thumbnail and it didn't reveal Trixie's 2004 industrial wasteland Halloween costume. Don't let us down, benmac, the people have got to have something to live for. Posted by: hannah at October 26, 2004 03:26 PM

The Answer: If you thought you could make out the Domino Sugars sign in today's thumbnail, then you are right! Trixie is seen walking along the waterfront here at Fell's Point in the great city of Baltimore. Jenn's work brought her to a blood bank convention and we came along for the ride. I've always been partial to the Domino Sugars sign. Even if you don't live in Baltimore, you can't help but see it if you're driving by on I-95 (especially at night.) Well, wherever she is, she appears a bit out of sorts without an ice cream cone and a goat to poke. You guys sure do get around (especially to the farms)! Posted by: michele at October 26, 2004 08:41 PM

Wow, Trixie was here and we didn't even know it? How did we miss the parade and fanfare? My guess is you're better off not letting us know ahead of time when you'll be visiting other locales or else poor Trixie will be mobbed by all of her adoring fans and you'd never get to leave ;-) Posted by: Dianne at October 27, 2004 07:47 AM
