Oblivious to the rest of the world
This is why we need to turn off the TV during dinner. No matter what's on, Trixie gets completely sucked in and loses all interest in eating. (She's not even really drinking here. She's just letting the cup slowly drop away.) (And before anyone asks, it's chewed up "Not-dogs".)

yall are so lucky to get her to actually use a high chair. when we have my stepson,Zack(13mths), the only way we can get him to actually eat is for him to stand in front of where you are sitting and feed him, any other time he picks at whatever it is and plays.

The thumbnail reminds me of one of my favorite TPOD's - the map on the highchair tray - can you post the link? I'm too spastic and lazy!

Is that edamame along with the "not dogs"? I've not tried that with Madeleine... And what's she watching so intently? World news tonight?

Trixie looks like me when I watch tv. I complain about whatever someone is watching, not wanting to watch it but I get sucked into it anyway and it takes a couple minutes for me to realize someone is trying to get my attention. Not a good habit to get into. People get annoyed when they want my attention and can't compete with a toilet bowl cleanser commercial (yea its that bad)
