Didn't I call it? She is mad ghetto, despite there being no ghettos around. It must be genetics, Chicago-affected. Posted by: schaff at December 10, 2004 04:45 AM

Trixie is mad ghetto. She's got so much swagger. Don't forget da bronx too, Schaff. Posted by: hannah at December 10, 2004 11:40 AM

And is quite the accomplished artist, too, for a 16-month-old! Posted by: michele at December 10, 2004 05:58 PM

Why do kids get to do nothing but play all the time? No fair. Posted by: DavidNYC at December 10, 2004 08:07 PM

Trixie is talented in the Renaissance sense of the word. That is to say, many of the pieces are created assembly-line, by a workshop full of skilled apprentices. She only stumbles in around noon to put on the finishing scribble. Expert art analysis will confirm this work as a Jenn. Posted by: benmac at December 10, 2004 09:28 PM

Oh, no - it's a good comparison, there's plenty of the bad stuff. Besides, didn't Warhol famously observe that every baby blog gets 15 months of fame? We're coasting on fumes here. Posted by: benmac at December 11, 2004 12:03 AM

I think it's safe to say that if Warhol had a favorite baby blog, this would be it. He missed so much! Hannah: Of course. The Bronx River flows in Trixie's blood like an ancient promise, waiting to be fulfilled. Posted by: Schaff at December 11, 2004 05:56 AM

hahahaha. trixie warhol.... i'd say with that graffiti she is more like Jean Michelle Basquiat. Ya know, andy's buddy that dated madonna in the 80's. Thats a good movie by the way "Basquait" Or maybe its jenn that is basquait since its her art and trixie is warhol in that sence. Oh man, I don't know now.
