One point twenty-one gigawatts
I know this is hard to believe, but the huge gash (currently covered) on Trixie's forehead has nothing to do with her new ability to climb/fall out of the crib. She actually banged it on a table leg. I just wanted to go ahead and set the record straight, because I'm afraid her injury will be showing up in TPODs for weeks to come. BTW, after she hit her head, she drew this.Photo taken December 19th, 2004. | |

Now all she needs to do is build a jet car to go with it. Isn't it amazing how fast kids grow up? One day she's a cute little infant who can't even crawl, the next thing you know, she's driving through mountains. Posted by: bex at December 20, 2004 04:05 AM

Either that band-aid is HUGE or Trixie is TINY! Posted by: Margit at December 20, 2004 07:07 AM

Now wait a second, Bex, if I'm not mistaken, Trixie's about to go Back to the Future (no relation to recently mentioned TPOD's of the Future)... not become Buckaroo Bonzai. Sorry... gotta' keep those SciFi references straight. ;) But Ben, did you think of this on your own or because BTTF was on TV this weekend? Posted by: Jeff at December 20, 2004 08:17 AM

BTTF was on this weekend?? I missed it. I was just trying to think of the best way to spin toddler head trauma. BTW, yes, it's a huge band-aid. Posted by: benmac at December 20, 2004 09:10 AM

Pardon me, the Flux Capacitor and the Oscillation Overthruster look similar to me, so I was mixed up. (I think they're actually the same device, turned 180°, but I should have sussed the particular head trauma and napkin notes to make the correct reference.) Not to be mean but when I read all these comments, all i could picture was a group of guys with those big thick black glasses with the tape in the middle of the nose getting ready for the science fair. @-@ :B Ohkay that was mean, I guess I'm just jealous cuz I dunno what anyone is talking about. Woa. Heavy. (Sorry, late to the party. But I had to say something. Why *is* the watermelon in the pressure plates, anyway.) Ooops. The tape came off my glasses. Gotta go fix 'em. --FD Posted by: FrumDad at December 22, 2004 11:14 AM
