OMG! This is what I go thru everyday. I have to take pics of screaming kids! once in a while its great but alot of times I feel like a doctor about to give a kid a shot the way they react. Most of the times I leave work feeling like a monster. its heart breaking to make so many kids cry just by sitting them down in front of a camera. Poor trix, I'm glad I didn't have to take this pic. :) Posted by: Nina at December 25, 2004 11:49 PM

Boy, do I recognize that. My kidlet's been sick since 4am Christmas morning. Fever, cough, exhausted but not able to sleep, crying and whimpering non-stop and since her bedtime bottle last night, throwing up anything we try to get into her. Keira's first Christmas was definitely a memorable one, albeit not in a good way. Hope these pics aren't a generalization of your whole day and that you all had a great Christmas! Been looking back through TPOD, and the "One Year Ago Today" feature. 2 things: 1. Trixie is beautiful. Even with the red nose. 2. I love OYAT. Gotta figure out how to do that on my blog. Posted by: Dave at December 26, 2004 12:44 PM

It must be something about this age. When we tried to take a family photo for our Christmas cards, our 18-month-old daughter was extremely uncooperative and grouchy as well, though of course five minutes after we gave up she was laughing and running around as happy as can be. Ah well, c'est la vie avec toddlers, oui? :-) Posted by: Bethany at November 28, 2005 02:20 AM
