My goodness, she's a beautiful child. Have you considered a modeling career? Posted by: Debi at January 4, 2005 12:05 AM

It looks like little cheerleaders with red poms on the smocked part of her dress. Is it? Posted by: Van at January 4, 2005 08:17 AM

She's so adorable in a dress- I just love it! Will you put up a picture of the dress I got her?? Please :) Posted by: KatyMac at January 4, 2005 08:35 AM

Trixie looks so adorable in this picture. Love her hair style! So glad you decided NOT to cut her hair. :) Posted by: lori at January 4, 2005 10:16 AM

She looks very dubious about this dress thing. "Okay, Dad, are you done taking the picture of the Trixie-eating tablecloth? Can I put my clothes back on now?" (Not that the dress looks like a tablecloth. I quite like the color, and I'm impressed that she has socks that match the little decorations. *I* don't have socks that match anything.) Debi: Yes, why thank you. I briefly considered a 'modeling' career back in Chicago, but when I showed up I wasn't real comfortable with -- oh, did you mean for Trixie? Van: Yes. KatyMac: Let's see. The last time Trixie wore a dress in a TPOD was Sept 3rd. If we project forward, I'd say there's an excellent chance we'll see another dress picture by May. lori: It was the path of least resistance. Tiger Spot: I tried, but I don't know what "Trixie-eating tablecloth" means. Posted by: benmac at January 4, 2005 01:08 PM

How adorable. I am soon (Jan 7th) going to be a great Aunt. I am so excited. Will be able to go buy little girl dresses for next Christmas. :) Or maybe get out the old sewing machine now I has a little girl to sew for again. Posted by: Keeyah at January 4, 2005 09:00 PM

What does the asterisk refer to? Posted by: Jen (yep, another one) at January 4, 2005 10:16 PM

She's growing up too fast! She looks like a whole year older in this pic compared to the last few. Maybe its the hair, its so pretty. Trixie cleans up nice. I agree with Debi, if not modeling I think she should be on Tv. I think Trixie should have her own Talk show....once she starts talking that is....with guest stars and everything. It'll be a huge hit. Posted by: nina at January 4, 2005 11:58 PM

But I'm her Aunt and I bought her a dress!! You should put her in it now..... You can just e-mail me the picture, I don't care if it makes it on here or not!!! Posted by: Katy at January 6, 2005 08:07 PM

But if I email you a picture then I'll have to email Mom a picture and then I'll have to email everyone in the family a picture. No, it's better if it just stays here. May is looking pretty open so I'll just go ahead and reserve May 2nd, 2005 for a "Trixie in a Dress" TPOD. Posted by: benmac at January 6, 2005 08:21 PM

That's so sweet of you but I'm already busy on May 2nd- but Monday would be a good time for me. Posted by: Katy at January 7, 2005 08:56 AM

Perhaps we (TTU fans) could help solve this sibling dispute with a new poll: "When should Trixie debut Aunt Katy's dress?". It has been fun to watch your bantering as it reminds me of so many past and present disputes with my older brother. It's amazing how he still knows what buttons to press despite the fact we are both in our 30's and live several thousand miles away. Posted by: Leslie at January 7, 2005 10:09 AM

Should there really be a poll about whether Trixie should appear in more dresses? Is that something you guys feel strongly about? BTW, Katy, I'm your older brother and I run the site. There's no way you'll win this one ;) Posted by: benmac at January 7, 2005 02:37 PM

I don't particularly care to see Trixie in "more dresses" in general - BUT I would like to see "Aunt Katy's dress" on Trixie sometime well before May, mainly because I can relate to Katy in wanting to see clothing I've picked out on a child I adore (as I have no children of my own to torture with cutesy clothes!). So, perhaps a poll would be good? Or you could just humor your sister? :-) Posted by: Kelli at January 7, 2005 04:00 PM

As a long time lurker, and as an aunt who buys clothes for my nieces, I really like to see the girls in the clothes I buy!! May is toooo long to wait -- be a nice big brother!! Show us the dress!!! Christine Posted by: Christine at January 8, 2005 09:27 AM

Sorry, Ben. I have two brothers (one older, one younger) who still torture me although we are all in our 20's. So, I am going to have to take Katy's side and pressure you to give her a TPOD with the dress she gave Trixie...much sooner than May. Katy, I feel your pain!
