Pig tails

We never got around to cutting Trixie's hair. Well... we cut a little off the bangs but gave up before we did real damage. This is a rare shot of her with some hair management in place.

Adorable. I'm very impressed that she sat still long enough for you to put not one, but two! ponytails in her hair. (Or did you bribe her with Elmo Fruit snacks, the way I have to do with Madeleine when I'm cutting her toe nails?)

I just gotta say I love pig tails on little girls. I think because I always had very short hair growing up. I always wanted to put pretty elastics in my hair but never could. I also use to call them Pink Tails. heehee. Trixie is super cute!

And you're not concerned about the letters of the alphabet growing off the end, a known side effect of too little trimming? Who will sponsor Sesame Street episodes, with "the letter K" all tangled up in Trixie's locks?

sweet! my son used to have bangs like that until about a month ago when I finally decided to do the deed... guess what, he actually looks very cute now too (proud mama).

but the REAL question here is: could it be that I am spotting a DRESS under her coat?
