This started as a joke
You remember Trixie and carbonation. It's not really funny anymore. Today she pitched a 10-minute long tantrum because I wouldn't let her open a can of Selzter. (She even got the straw out by herself.)

White sofa? You have a white sofa with a toddler in the house??
I'm hoping that you really have a multicoloured sofa, but that the covers are in the wash to get the spaghetti bolognaise stains off.
(Love the overalls.)

She doesn't remember her reaction from the last time she tied it, does she? I do and I'm LOL! (It's okay Trixie, I feel the same way about carbonation.)

Is your couch leather? I've heard that leather couches are the way to go when you have kids. Most spills can be wiped off easily and don't seep into the couch.

She is too cute! Probably a lot funnier to those reading the site as we see only stills and not the accompanying noise. Poor thing. Just wait until she gets her first taste of something carbonated that she LIKES! By the way, I am sure this has been asked before and if so I apologize, but what about adding some streaming video? Perhaps I am asking too much, but this is quickly becoming my favorite site to check when I get to work for some much-needed amusement. Sadly, I missed the MSNBC expose, but I would love to see her in action. She is adorable!

My son was born only on Aug 25th 2004 so being only a year and 25 days older then him it is amazing for me to see all the pics and how fast he will grow. She is so cute and I love the Pick taken a year ago today (Feb 2nd 2004). It reminds me of Peter, he just now figured out that hitting his rattles on the floor makes a grate noise.

>> Is your couch leather?

I wish! It's IKEA. And I can't believe all the spill stains don't show up in the photo.

I don't like seltzer either but I am soooo addicted to coke or pepsi, mostly coke! Its terrible how much I drink it! When I was on a doc recommended diet they said to drink selter water instead of soda thinking it would be a good substitute but Yuck! I don't get why I like one but not the other, the sugary syrup i guess.

Don't let Trixie be a coke Junkie, um I mean Soda junky it's so tastey but so not good!

Nina: Jenn and I have a real coke problem too. Umm, a Coca-Cola problem. But we've never let Trixie have any of that. I suppose we should be thankful she's whining for seltzer instead of sugar water.

Benmac, don't let my husband see you say you love coke! He's a driver for Pepsi, the best pop out there! :)

I can get on board with that. After all, we live in the Carolinas.

Hi, my name is Lori and I was a Coke-a'holic. My last Coca-Cola was in 1990. It was my favorite soda, too. I used to drink 32oz a day! I quit cold turkey after seeing it eat away (literally) at stainless steel. Oh, I had withdrawals...for about 6 months and it was hard b/c I was constantly around the stuff, but I somehow managed. Hopefully my body is healthier for it now. I can't even drink carbonated drinks now without feeling queezy. I wish anyone who tires to quit the bubbly habit good luck!
