A Care Bear! Those came out when I was little, and I LOVED them (my favorite was Cheer Bear). I can't wait for one of my friends to have a kid, preferably a girl, so I can live vicariously through her by buying her a Care Bear...and maybe a cabbage patch kid. Aren't those coming back too? Aww the good old days... :)

hey is that chair pottery barn? been looking for a chair for my 13 month old. do you like it?

mindy Yes, it is. Trixie likes it as a regular chair but we also turn it over and make a 'mountain' for her to climb on. We're also using it to keep her from rolling out of bed at night.

The photo reminds me of various frustrated interactions with an ex- (and really tall, so he therefore had long arms) boyfriend who would stick his palm out against my forehead to keep me at least a foot away so I couldn't pummel him for berating the Cleveland Cavs.

Toys...can't wait til Gracie is big enough to play with them. She hasn't even begun batting at stuff yet! Becky, I loved Care Bears too! I was psyched when they made their big comeback while I was pregnant!!

We bought the same toy organizer at Target for those of you looking for one. I think they had primary colors and also pastels. We bought ours at least a year ago. I would think they would still carry them. Good Luck!!

Hi Ben,

What happened to Trixie last night? She waked up multiple times. Poor little thing.

She's a little sick. I'm hoping it's a 24-hour bug. And just so you know, there's a comment thread specifically for daily sleep questions if you've got any questions in the future :)

Here's a storage space question:

What do you do with all of that stuff Trixie has outgrown (bouncy seat, clothes, etc.)? We also live in a small space and are quickly running out of closet room. I don't really want to get rid of all of it with an eye toward future babies, but neither do I want to rent a storage unit!

P.S. Rowan is just a year old, surely this problem will only get worse!

well you can always do what my daughter did with outgrown stuff.......bring it to Nanna and Ba's house!

Stephanie: Sorry, I forgot to get back to your question, but my answer is tha same as N's. We pack it up and send it to Trixie's grandparents.

I like that organizer also... Target had a cute pastel colored one this holiday season. I didn't get it because I thought "climbing hazard". Has she ever scaled it to get to the bins at the top?

Well, Trixie is pretty tall and she can reach the top bins by herself. But I think I remember her trying to climb on it once and giving up because the bins kept shifting under her feet.
