AC, check
I let her play in the front seat too. She can get the key in, but there's no chance of her working the clutch. Give her a couple of years though -- I'm gunning for one of those CNN headline stories: 4-Year-Old Drives Car, Hits Police Cruiser.Photo taken April 4th, 2005. Age: 20 months. | |

I hadn't thought of that: another reason to drive a stick -- your kid can't work the steering wheel, gas, clutch, and stick all at the same time. Plus, I've read more than one story where carjackers weren't able to steal the car because it was a stick shift. They don't tell you these things at the dealership. Oh how WILD - I hadn't thought about Mike's point of view...yet another reason to purchase a standard automobile! Travis used to play with the controls on the dashboard - you never knew what you were going to get when you turned on the car! Posted by: Judy at April 8, 2005 08:03 AM

Ooo, what an idea. Now if only I can teach my daughter how to read a map then we'll head off to Dianey World. *Sigh* Alas I have to wait until my daughter has a few more motor skills. (I just realized a pun there.) At 3 months she has a ways to go. Posted by: Nanay at April 8, 2005 11:34 AM

Get Trixie into cars!! It'll be so cute. Plus it's embarressing when I learned to drive my best friend had been practicing since he was 11 and pretty much became an amazing driver. when i first got into a car at 16 it was awfully embarressing. I failed my first driving test. We need more good women drivers out there to break that stupid "women drivers" bad remark! Trixie will be that chic next door with the tricked out ride all the guys will be envious! Posted by: Nina at April 11, 2005 08:45 PM
