To eat, or not to eat
We still can't entirely trust Trixie around a bar of soap.

Last fall, Maddie flushed a huge bar of soap down the toilet. It stopped it right up. We figured a few flushes and it'd go on it's merry way. Not so. We had to use one of those long snake thingamabobs to get the toilet unplugged. Beware of toddlers bearing soap. Posted by: Maddie's Mom at April 25, 2005 10:04 AM

We LOVE the ducks! My older son still plays with ours in the tub (at 5.5 years)! Posted by: Judy at April 25, 2005 11:13 AM

Too cute! We love the ducks, too. But, someone told me once to be cautious of rubber bath toys with holes on the bottom that allow water to get in. Unless you are super careful about squeezing all of the water out, it can grow bacteria inside the toys and contaminate the bath water. Interesting, don't you think? So, now I only buy the duckies that don't have holes - because I can't be bothered squeezing out all of the water every night :-) Just thought I would pass that along to all of you... Has Trixie been cussin? LOL My husband's favorite childhood story is when my MIL "washed" his mouth out with soap, and for revenge he threw up on the brand new living room carpet..... Posted by: Michele at April 25, 2005 10:03 PM

I remember how much I use to love bubble bath soap/foam. I mean to eat it! I don't think it was the taste I think just the feeling. I'm not sure. I wasn't a toddler either so thats pretty sad. I think I was 8 years old and still doing it. Oh man... is there a psychiatrist reading this? I wonder if that is significant. Anyway, I think kids fasination with soap is that it kinda looks like an ice creme bar, and if you get ones that smell like fruit, well that can be pretty confusing to.
