Great complexion, Trixie! And the camera angle makes her appear so much taller!

At last the spell has been broken...I can see color again. Hooray! Now if I could finally finish this before nap time.

do you ever make your pics brown. darn what the term....oohhh ohhh sepia tone!! That's it. I like how you go from color to black and white tho, I'm just curious if maybe you don't like sepia or just didn't think to use it or I dunno.

Nina: Valid question. I don't use sepia tone because I think of it as just an effect. I process most TPODs to correct for colors and lighting. I also sometimes convert to B/W because it's a formal way to focus on values and patterns. But sepia starts to head down the path of just playing around with effects in Photoshop. And if I started playing around with all the Photoshop filters then I think things would get goofy awfully quick. We're talking a motion blurred Trixie rendered in cross-hatching with inverted channels and poster edges and lens flares. Lots of lens flares.

Without the sound and motion of real time and only the photos of Trixie she certainly never seems to be only 20 months old to observers of the site.
I often think if she looks this mature at this age, what will she look/be like when she is the age that that she looks like she is on the photos?

Debi
I agree...so many people comment about how "advanced" she is and how much older she looks...now ben, no offence to you, she is probably ahead of some kids her age (and so darn cute!) my daughter seemed to have follwed the path of Trixie, her ped. says shes "advanced" but here is what i think: girls have a tendancy to do things sooner, and shes a first born. these two combined make a difference. also, i found when ours turned 2 she "sounded" older...until then you seem to say, "shes _ months..." when they turn 2, well, "two" just sounds older than "24 months" OK i'm rambeling....

ok ben, I know exactly what your talking about, I'm making an invation for my sisters bridal shower and I took a pic of bride and groom and spent an hour or so trying out all the effects. I think the end result is probably goofy now that you mention it. Sheesh! Ok I'll simplify, it works so well for you!!

:P
