Cute, Trixie! Love the expression. I always enjoy the candid shots, especially the ones that really show Trixie’s personality. Have a wonderful Father’s Day, Ben! Posted by: lori at June 17, 2005 12:12 PM

My 18 month old sons do the SAME thing... But they happen to get spit everywhere, and somewhere in the middle of it all start hysterical laughing, and eventually can only stick out their tounge and giggle, because they are laughing too hard to make the "pppfff" sound anymore! Trixie is a georgeous (spelling?) girl, great photo ben! Posted by: Casey at June 17, 2005 01:20 PM

I also LOVE the little magnets in the background, but how in the world can she pick those up, they look so flat! We had to buy the boys the magnet letters that stick out a bit, but they wind up everywhere else BUT on the fridge! Posted by: Casey (again) at June 17, 2005 01:22 PM

Ben, I found out about your site through a friend, I must tell you its fantastic! My twin sons (I believe the previous reviewer has twins too, hard to tell though... funny how that works out!) just turned a year old last week. Trixie is just a bit older than the two that we have, and is just SO ADORABLE! I wish my husband (stay at home as well) had the time to make one of these sites! Anyways I LOVE this site, (seen all the pics and a few comments through the calander option) and I hope to become a "regular" here at TPOD. About this photo, well dont all kids do this! My sons LOVE to annoy me by spitting like that, just because I tell them its "a no". Of course once I tell them NOT to do something, they do it MORE. Well, its cute and all, but not too plesent when you get a wad of spit in your eye (or in your case the $500 dollar camera lense!) Trixie is just so darned cute, you cant help but smile! *** I can just hear the buzz sound that she must be making while doing this, took quite a while for my sons to "get the hang of it"*** By the way, what/who is she looking at if the camera is obviously in the other direction? Jen I'm guessing? Posted by: Lindsay at June 17, 2005 01:42 PM

LOVE those magnets! Quick, I have to run before my son sees Trixie doing this, or my keyboard will be pppffffed upon! Posted by: Judy at June 17, 2005 03:32 PM

Here again, this is officially my SECOND time posting :). Trixie looks so "funny" in this picture (not funny in a freaky funny way, but funny in a "fun" way, if that makes much sense?) The twins (glad to see 2 more twin parents bloggin too!) always do that, but they cant really get the "ppppffff" thing down pat. Glad to see Trixie having a good time... Great photo. LOVE the magnets, glad to see I'm not the only parent with 1,000 "kiddie" magnets on our refrigerator, especially all of them being at about the 2ft high level! Is it just me, or do her eyes seem to be getting greener? Adorable Trixie! Posted by: Melissa at June 17, 2005 06:35 PM

My 3-year-old sons love to do this back and forth to each other -- especially when we are driving down the road. I don't know what is so fascinating about it, but it is very cute to hear them doing this and giggling in the back seat with each other. Posted by: mom2four at June 20, 2005 02:19 AM
