Ben: It's a transmitter, a radio for speaking to God! Trixie: You wanna talk to God? (reaching for her Silkie) Let's go see him together; I've got nothing better to do. Posted by: Mike at July 13, 2005 12:08 AM

"Yo Pops, if you'd snake a little hooch into the meds, I'd be much more obliged to actually swallow the pink stuff as opposed to wearing it." Sorry - it is late, I'm from TX...Tequila is a staple in the pantry here (for the older crowd, not the kids). Posted by: Judy at July 13, 2005 12:14 AM

Daddy take off that God-awful shirt or else... i'll drink THIS!! Posted by: Summer at July 13, 2005 12:19 AM

Did you wear that shirt just for our benefit? Maybe Trixie is telling you that you can only wear it when drunk off of tequila. To sound like a valley girl, that shirt is sooo 1999, which is when I graduated high school, so I would know. :OP Sorry if that's harsh, but someone has to be! Why, the title would have to be "Choose Your Poison" of course! Thanks again for rewarding my late night compulsive check-ins of Trixie and co. I do so love visiting this site and seeing her lovely personality bloom and grow. You do a beautiful job. Posted by: Jennifer at July 13, 2005 12:28 AM

"one part tequila to one part pink bubblegum goo...now thats a toddler margarita!' ..just kiddin, just kiddin we had a bottle of Raspberry Smirnoff Vodka in the pantry and aiddy took the lid off of it. i didnt realise it til a couple days later and it had evaporated. so i sat down with the munchkin and had a long talk about alcohal abuse. first commandment of alcohalism..'thou shall not waste booze'! glad to see you are also educating early ben! ;-) (and yet again just kiddin...) Haley - Just checking back myself...Yes, we seem to have both thought of Trixie's first introduction to adult beverages. :) I must have skipped over your's when I first posted. Posted by: lori at July 13, 2005 06:47 PM

Dan, your caption was my fave by far! Altho its horrible to think Trixie was a drunken accident. Still funny tho! Ben, I sorta kinda liked the shirt when it was on Trixie, but I gotta say....maybe you should give it to Trixie. Also it kinda makes you look like a stand up comedian. I'm not sure why, that's just what I thought of. I'm sorry if I sound like a jerk. When I was a little kid my mom gave me liquor to help my stomach aches and get me to go to sleep. I'm so serious so if Trixie get's some long hours of sleep we'll all know why. Posted by: Nina at July 13, 2005 10:20 PM

gotta post again. What was going on before the pic was taken: "I know pops, We drink lots of this!" Posted by: Nina at July 13, 2005 10:31 PM

Nina: It's funny that you mention giving it to Trixie. She has slept with that shirt every night since I first showed it to her. It's almost replaced Silky! I'm pretty sure I'm on the road to losing possession of it. Posted by: benmac at July 13, 2005 10:37 PM

You guys had me laughing all day long -- thanks a million! Mike: Awesome! It was funny as hell even before I looked it up. Super Classic. Rachel: But it's Mommy's prescription. Dan: it's funny because it's true. Val: I looked into that. And apparently you aren't supposed to bring alcohol to the park :( Kelli: She also really likes the AYYYYYBEEEEESEEEEE store sign. My dad used to give me walnut whiskey for a stomach ache. He also made me drink whiskey one time we drank water out of one of those games where you press the button and shoot the basketball through the hoop in water. That shirt has got to go. Posted by: Elaine at July 14, 2005 10:30 AM

Oh God, got the link (again) from today's TPOD and have terrible memories...I am actually on antibiotics for strep this week and remember not even being able to swallow that stuff! I am now switched to something called Omnicef, and feel MUCH better, but this past week has been MISERABLE! Hope she doesn't have the sickies now!!!
