Is she drinking and driving? What a bad habit to start so young...

Look, just cuz' Trixie has gone all Easy Rider on us is no reason to shy away from her now.

Ya' gotta' remember that we're down in the south... so semi-naked on a three-wheeler with a frosty beverage in hand is NORMAL.

The only thing missing is a sign on the back saying "If you can read this, then my daddy stopped pushing."

The effect/lighting on this photo gives it an oldworld touch to me. Pretty nice.

Great lighting/color on this photo. Kind of black and white, kind of color. Any special camera setting for this or was it black and white and you photoshopped some color into it or was the lighting just like that?

Maddie's Mom, Becky, Jeff: thanks for starting Monday morning out right!

Elaine: It was a color photo taken in some very dim, early morning light. Normally I don't use images like this because you really have to push the levels in Photoshop which creates (reveals) a lot of noise (grain), but I liked her body language so I went ahead and did it. The desaturated color is just the result of lightening the image.

On another note, Ben, is that Big Girl Underwear she is wearing?!? (And did I somehow miss the big Trixie's-Officially-Potty-Trained announcement?!?)

I was wondering the same as Michele...

So let us know... is Trixie officially on the road to potty training or was this one of those *she screamed until we let her wear them and then promptly watered the floor* moments we so enjoy around these parts?

At any rate, beautiful picture... she's growing up so quickly! :O)

The Elmo underpants she's wearing in this picture was a test. She's getting better and better about either telling us she has to use the potty -- or even going and doing it by herself. However, we're only trying the underpants on weekends, around the house. A couple of hours after this picture was taken, we had a horrible... horrible mess.

um, ben in little girl terms they are elmo PANTIES...boys wear underwear and girls wear big girl panties...Dora panties were the sole motivational factor for poyyt training around our house.

2 girl mama, I think the terminology varies from family to family. I wasn't a tomboy, but I wasn't a frilly girl either, and panties just didn't sound like something I would wear. So my brother and I both wore underwear, unless we were wearing Underoos, of course.

Underoos rock! I definitely had Batman when I was a kid, and I'm pretty sure I had Iron Man, but I don't see it pictured.

I had Wonder Woman and R2-D2. Playing Wonder Woman in Underoos is one of my fondest early childhood memories. :-)

Benmac, that page on Underoos you sent is great but incomplete, so I'm not surprised you don't see Iron Man there. I had Josie & the Pussy Cats Underoos, but they weren't there. :(
Has anyone verified the claim that Toys R Us is selling Underoos again?
Nice shot-- very neo-noir.
