Trixie could be in a Dove deodorant commercial with those smooth armpits. Her armpits to underarms story could be that she wanted to play on the monkey bars, but her pits just weren't smooth enough to wear a sleeveless shirt and then she used Dove deodorant. I'm up late, so I'm in a little bit of a weird mood. Sorry! : ) Looks like she's having fun though! Posted by: Em's Momma at August 12, 2005 12:03 AM

I always loved the rings when I did gymnastics, you should get her into a tumbling class! I started when I was 3 and I loved it. She does have nice smooth skin. Does she still weigh next to nothing and that's why she can hold herself up? Posted by: Valerie at August 12, 2005 12:08 AM

You know you spend too much time at playgrounds when it takes you only 2 seconds to recognize where Trixie is... Posted by: Shauna at August 12, 2005 07:32 AM

My kids play the "hot lava" game, too! What is it with these guys - some volcano trauma in the junior collective unconscious? With my three, the ground is usually either molten or covered in sharks. Childhood is truly fraught with peril... Posted by: Elisabeth at August 12, 2005 08:59 AM

I've been a "lurker" for quite a while now (someone going through all the TPOD archives - that's me!). I thought I'd come out of the shadows to tell you #1) Trixie is such a lovely, adorable little girl. I love watching her 'grow up' (which is easy to do flipping through archives start to finish!) and #2) Loved your post on http://DesignPublic.com -- hilarious! Jenny: thanks! I've been so busy I didn't get around to mentioning the piece. If anyone is interested, I did a short guest-blogging piece for the Design Public company blog. They are introducing a new baby/kid store and asked a bunch of parent bloggers to offer thoughts on kids and design. There are a lot of familiar names in the bunch. HAHA - I am totally laughing at the Dove post above! I just got my free sample of their deoderant three days ago and am "doing the dove challenge"! Posted by: Judy at August 12, 2005 10:09 AM
