There won't be any more of these until I find a new construction site. They are finally finished demolishing and rebuilding things around the apartment.

Wow, the trucks that I used to play with were made by matchbox! Trixie is one lucky girl!

It's great that she's not scared of these things right now, (exposure does that). I remember that my sister was always terrified of large mechanical equipment when she was little.

It's weird how the 'cat' is looking right at her.

My son wont be born for another month or so, but they are doing construction near my house for the next 9months. I really was hoping that I could take him out to see the trucks but he certainly wont be old enough. I guess Ill have to find a new dig site as well.

When I was a kid, I'd always wanted to be allowed to play with the construction equipment. What a cool dad Trixie has :)

Oh, how FUN!!! When I was around 7 or 8, my Dad rented one of these to "landscape" our yard. I had so much fun climbing all over it. I have a picture of me sitting behind the wheel...but I don't remember getting to ride around in it. It was great nevertheless. I love how Trixie is so inquisitive.

I was older than trixie is now probably 10 or so but I remember when the house next to ours was being built it was the greatest play yard anyone could ask for of course it was more fun because we knew how much trouble we'd be in if anyone found out we were sneaking onto the foundation. We use to play hide and seek the best hiding spot was in the celing. I'd climb up by the soap shelf in the bathtub and climb all over the rafters. No one ever knew and it was awesome to tell the other kids there were ghosts in the house and then hide in the celing and make spookey noises.

Sigh... I miss being 10. Trixie is so lucky she has so much fun in store for her as she grows up!
