Alright, now you've done it. We've had a bag of chocolate chip cookie mix in the cupboard for more than a week now -- a record, I believe -- and now I have no choice but to go directly from the computer to the kitchen and whip up a batch. For this I will blame Trixie...

Ben, Trixie looks so serious in many of the TPODs lately. Has she decided she doesn't like her picture being taken? Has she started doing that hyper-happy, fake Cheese! grin, rendering those photos less aesthetically pleasing? Just wondering.

Y, I am with you... please don't say it's true. That is just MADNESS! It looks as if someone just told Trixie this shocking news!

I have heard that (actually, I've heard that he's turning into the "Apple Monster") for several years but I don't think it's actually happened. Though a quick Google just revealed a SF Chronicle article from April suggesting that Cookie Monster is learning better eating habits... who knows?!

Got Milk?

It's old, I know. But I can't have chocolate chip cookies without milk. How about a pint, Dad?

She appears shell-shocked from the sugar.

I was thinking it was more of a food coma...

I believe that the official response from Cookie Monster was a the new theme that "cookies are a sometimes food."

The best response that I've heard yet is in reaction to Seseme St being responsible for teaching children that cookies are not the main course, "parenting isn't a sometime job".

I don't think Cookie's changing his name, he's just eating cookies along with more healthly choices. In our latest DVD, he gobbles vegetables and fruits and chases milk around. My 2 year old still likes to say "cookie!!" in that cookie voice and pretend to squash 100 cookies into her mouth at the same time. I don't think the vegetable trick is working, she still won't touch them.
Cheer up Trixie, Cookies are yummy!
