Believe it or not, I did not look at the 'One Year Ago Today' TPOD until today's TPOD was prepped and I was testing the link. In addition to the subject matter, her right hand is even reaching in the exact same way. It's interesting how patterns build up over time.

This is one of our FAVORITE sand toys (we used to have a smaller version of this - not permanent in the ground, though). That should have kept her busy for a while! Posted by: Judy at September 15, 2005 07:47 AM

When my oldest son was about 2, his cousin was playing on one of these and my son got a bit too close. WHAM! Right in the kisser. It is a great toy. Seems to really make them think and use their coordination. Posted by: Moe at September 15, 2005 10:40 AM

Ben, where is this park? All of the playground equipment you've shown this week is so cool! BTW, I love this site and look forward each day to the new TPOD. Posted by: Tabs at September 15, 2005 11:03 AM

Im a bit irritated that kids these days get all of the cool playground toys. I remember scorching hot slides and toys jammed with sand so much that they dont work right any more. Talk about fun. Posted by: Kevin at September 15, 2005 11:23 AM
