I can't help but thinking she looks very "street", but since when do they have Subways in North Carolina?

Is that the DC metro? If not, it's a frightening resemblance.

Hey, maybe we'll get some pics of Trixie in front of famous buildings. Trixie goes to Washington!

Will she meet the President?

She looks like I do when I ride the subway, a little intrigued, a little scared.

Wow, I can't believe the famous Trixie was in DC, and we didn't even get to stalk her! :) (I was joking to my DH when we were in Chapel Hill last year that we just might spot the real live Trixie on the street -- but of course I had to promise not to run up and ask for her autograph. Even celebrities are entitled to their privacy.)

Hope you enjoyed the DC area. See any fun sights while you were here?

And she was in Baltimore in the OYAT. Is it a family occassion this time of year up there, or just a coincidence?

Rose, Ray: As far as Trixie was concerned, the subway was a pretty big "sight". It's not quite as cool as Thomas, but it was the first train she's been on.

The only real attraction we were able to visit was the Natural History museum. (It was a very short trip.) There will be at least one more DC TPOD this week, but none of her in front of famous buildings. You'll have to look 'One year ago today' plus a couple of days to see that :)

Michele: Last year's trip was driven by business. This year was driven by biological circumstances -- Trixie has a new cousin in the DC area. See Trixie holding the terrified baby next week.
