I'm liking it an awful lot. Christmas is approaching, and the inadequacies of my current camera are thrown into sharp relief every time I visit this site.

Ben, were you lying down when you took this?

I agree the hair style is cute!

Is that a cookie I see in her hand?
Makes me want a cookie.

Where's cookie monster when you need him?

1) Ok, I'll write a few points about the camera later today

2) She's holding a fuzzy hat which is full of acorns.

Couldn't beat that weather...until last night. I went to babysit at 6 p.m., and it was nice and warm outside. Shortsleeves, no jacket...then it rained. Left the family's house at about 10:30 p.m. and it was chilly. Woke up this morning and it was cold. Wearing a sweater and coat today. :-(

Oh well - at least it finally feels like November.

And the trees in B&W are kind of creepy, I think.

To have this kind of weather would be heaven. Living in Minnesota, it would be a gift. Although, we did have 50-60 degree weather juast last week. We're finally catching up to where we should be. Single digits this morning. Yup, that's Minnesota for ya. :)

I ran out of time to review the Canon, but here's why I took the Panasonic back:
I almost always shoot in manual mode. If not full manual, then at least shutter or aperture priority. The problem is that the Panasonic did not let you directly adjust the shutter or aperture. You had to press an intermediate button called 'exposure' to enter the mode which would allow you to switch from 1/60 to 1/80 second (for example). That was a deal breaker for me because I like to play around with many exposures to find the right one. I would not recommend the camera to anyone who ever plans to shoot anything outside of the full automatic program mode.
