I hate coffee, so a warm batch of hot chocolate in the morning sounds like the perfect caffeene pick me up. I believe that something sweet like hot chocolate can sweeten up anyone's mood or keep them sweet for a while.

Loren (who is 2) loves coffee, if you set your cup down she will drink it all, then bounce off the walls for hours! Thank goodness Trixie only got hot chocolate!

Doesn't hot chocolate have caffeine too??? The last time I heard it did.So I am not sure what the difference between coffee and chocolate would be. The mug (and that's a BIG mug) must be from Trixie's mom's med. school.
Chocolate has caffine in it, even candy bars.

Coffee has ~120 mg and hot chocolate more like 10 mg max.

Thanks for the info Moxie! After further research it seems the active ingredient in chocolate is Theobromine not caffeine. In the USA chocolate has approximately 4 mg. and a normal sized coup of coffee 75 mg. of caffeine.
Guess this was our Science lesson for today!
