Reminds me vaguely of Alien, in a less messy special effects kind of way. Posted by: fred at January 26, 2006 12:04 AM

Her eyes are *almost* as big as Elmo's! I'll have to show this picture to my 15 month old in the morning - he is an Elmo FREAK. Posted by: Judy at January 26, 2006 12:14 AM

How on earth did you get her to sit still long enough to take that photo? Is that a girl thing, the sitting still? Because Colum is still blurry as the Flash in most photos. Posted by: John (Colum's Dad) at January 26, 2006 08:41 PM

kelly: I haven't seen Trixie suck her thumb in a very long time. Unfortunately, I don't have any advice about what led her to stop doing it. We didn't even really notice when it tapered off. Sorry I can't help, but good luck! Moxie: I don't know where the shirt came from, but I will try to find out. If I get an answer, I'll post it in a future TPOD. John: I feel your pain! She's not even totally still in this shot — the web is just a forgiving medium. The reason I set it up was because she's obsessed with the photo booths at the mall. So she was willing to *try* to sit still. Just a little. Posted by: benmac at January 26, 2006 08:50 PM

Ben, not sure if i remember this right? But didn't Trixie stop sucking her thumb after it got a little sore? Not sure if it was dry or a little infected or what; but i thought that caused her to completely break the habit herself? Posted by: Summer at January 26, 2006 09:39 PM

The Elmo shirt can be purchased from the "What on Earth Catalog". My dd has two, elmo and zoe. I think the run a little small, so you may want to order a size up. Posted by: at January 26, 2006 10:47 PM

Aw i see the lack of sleep caused you to forget such an important fact! ;) J/K! I think i'd go crazy if Autumn stopped! She would never just lay down and fall asleep! She has to suck it to fall asleep. Oh well i guess someday she'll have to huh. Posted by: Summer at January 27, 2006 08:29 PM
