Reminds me vaguely of Alien, in a less messy special effects kind of way.

Her eyes are *almost* as big as Elmo's! I'll have to show this picture to my 15 month old in the morning - he is an Elmo FREAK.

She's wide eyed because of all that yummy hot chocolate she had ;-)

Cute portrait. Trixie is so pretty.

How on earth did you get her to sit still long enough to take that photo? Is that a girl thing, the sitting still? Because Colum is still blurry as the Flash in most photos.

kelly: I haven't seen Trixie suck her thumb in a very long time. Unfortunately, I don't have any advice about what led her to stop doing it. We didn't even really notice when it tapered off. Sorry I can't help, but good luck!

Moxie: I don't know where the shirt came from, but I will try to find out. If I get an answer, I'll post it in a future TPOD.

John: I feel your pain! She's not even totally still in this shot — the web is just a forgiving medium. The reason I set it up was because she's obsessed with the photo booths at the mall. So she was willing to *try* to sit still. Just a little.

Ben, not sure if i remember this right? But didn't Trixie stop sucking her thumb after it got a little sore? Not sure if it was dry or a little infected or what; but i thought that caused her to completely break the habit herself?
I thought i remembered that since Autumn also sucked her thumb and she still does to fall asleep. It gets dry but every day i put aquaphor on it....

The Elmo shirt can be purchased from the "What on Earth Catalog". My dd has two, elmo and zoe. I think the run a little small, so you may want to order a size up.

Aw i see the lack of sleep caused you to forget such an important fact! ;) J/K! I think i'd go crazy if Autumn stopped! She would never just lay down and fall asleep! She has to suck it to fall asleep. Oh well i guess someday she'll have to huh.
