When I was her age, I would have thought that God's dropped his ring....I thought everything big was God's. It's nice that although Jenn and Ben have such busy lives, they still get to take their little girl to see neat stuff and really spend time with her. I love the way you guys have been able to balance your lives so that Trixie is in no way compromised. Way to go! Posted by: Wendy at March 2, 2006 07:40 AM

Wendy, I agree with you. It seems like they're able to put aside the laundry and cleaning house and all of those "things" you "have" to do, so that they can expose Trixie to a variety of experiences. It's very motivating for us newer parents to do the same. I also thought everything big was God's, in Denver where I grew up there was a furniture store with these huge arc shaped awnings, and I thought they were God's fingernails. Ah, to be a kid again.... I was told that when the moon was a thin crest it was because God poked a hole thru the sky with his thumb nail. I hear awful things about schools these days not having music or art classes. I hope this isn't true because I think Trixie would grow so much in art and music. Its way more important than memorizing facts. Get her into art classes! Posted by: Nina at March 2, 2006 04:44 PM

This thing looks cool: reminds me of the arch in the Star Trek. TOS Episode "Guardian of Forever" AWESOME!! Have Fun Trixie and Ben ;) I am a first time poster and have enjoyed Trixie's adventures for months now - she is lucky to have parents like you both :) Regards, Brian In Vermont ;)
