Both of Maddie's parents have a motorcycle license; however, becoming a mother made me into a fear-filled wimp. I sold my bike just a few months ago. I hope you're still riding yours!

I worry that this photo will come back to haunt you one day... I live in fear of the day when a boy will arrive at my house on a motorcycle to pick up my daughter. The good news, though, is that I'm not afraid of the boy, I'm afraid for him.

LOVE the look on Trixie's face! How perfect with the bike!

There's nothing wrong with a motorcycle license - I have one (I had a moped at one time) and I keep it renewed. You never know when someone might need you to drive their hog home for them!

Both Trixie and Roma will be signed-up for Motorcycle Safety Training, Accident Avoidance Training and Idiot Identification Training for the next 16 years. This should do as much as possible to either deter them from riding or be as safe as is humanly possible. The training will certainly educate them not to ride with anyone who is not a safe educated rider.

Idiot Indentification Training should be a MUST for every young girl!! Wish I'd had that class myself! Good job, Grandpa!

How old is Roma? I think we first saw her in November 2005 when she looked less than two months old. I think she might be the same age as my son, born September 6!

Trixie and Roma are almost exactly 2 years apart.

See the little bit of baby fat there behind Roma's knee makes me miss my baby's baby fat!! I just took some pictures the other day and it was the first set where he looked like a little boy instead of a baby:(

It's gotta be Jenn w/the motorcycle license. I too had one of those once, but I just didn't have the stomach for the life of living dangerously. Oh well.

when ever allison and mom are out in the yard when i come home from work on my bike (yamaha fz6) i will stop at the end of the dirt driveway, and allison will be lifted up on my bike for the 20ft or so to my parking spot. she LOVES it.

What a great photo! Trixie looks so proud of herself up there. And I think ShotgunDaddy is on the wrong track--Trixie will be the one striking fear into the hearts of parents some years hence, as she revs her bike in the drive while waiting for her date. I don't think Ben and Jen will need to be worried; with such great parents she'll have the confidence and smarts to take care of herself.

Trixie and roma are the perfect age to be best friends. When I was growing up my best friends were always a year or two older than me. And my fiance is two years older than me :P Here's hoping they'll have so much fun together and one day marry twins and live next door to eachother. heehee! What cuties they are!

The bike belongs to Trixie's Grandpa. And, yep, Jenn is the one with the motorcycle license.

I had a bike that I rode every day until I got "sick" . Turned out I was pregnant, I didn't want to end that prematurely so didn't ride my bike again until I rode it to the dealership to sell it :P
