Sleeping in again
Trixie shows up in our bed every single morning. We have no idea how. No idea when. Neither of us ever remembers anything. We probably wouldn't do very well if there was a home invasion. And yes, you've seen a shot like this before.

Look at those pillows - they look soooooo inviting! I don't blame Trixie one iota for wanting to be where the "good" pillows are! Enjoy the rest! Posted by: Judy at April 20, 2006 08:25 AM

Ethan did the same thing about 6 months ago, so at about the same age that Trixie is now. It lasted about a month or two and then he was perfectly content in his bed again! Posted by: Melissa at April 20, 2006 09:33 AM

Lovely. Peaceful and lovely. And considering that I'm currently having a very sleep deprived morning, I'm also trying to figure out if there's room enough in that bed for one more. I don't move much. And I look great in black and white. Posted by: Patti at April 20, 2006 09:33 AM

My son (2 weeks older than Trixie) has been doing this for the past three weeks or so, too. I never notice unless I get an elbow or foot in my face at 5 am! Posted by: Becky at April 20, 2006 12:02 PM

Alex (4 days older than Trixie) comes in our room every morning but he definitely makes his presence known, mostly by stating "I wake up!" followed by "I have breakfast [with] you?" Which ends up with him either sitting on his father's head or doing flips over me. Ah yes, quiet family mornings. Posted by: Nancy at April 20, 2006 01:40 PM

Your daughter is gorgeous. It's nice to see another Trixie in the world, how'd you come up with that name? I'm 15 and I've never heard of another soul named Trixie besides myself, excellent choice, lol. honestly its pretty tight growing up with a name that no one else has. People'll either forget it instantly since its so uncommon or never forget it because its so different. Good luck with Trixie, she'll make you proud. Have a great day! -- Trixie Posted by: Trixie at April 20, 2006 02:18 PM

Oddly enough, you look younger in this picture than you did in the one with Trixie as a baby. You are definitely getting more sleep. Thanks so much for your continual updates! Posted by: BeckaJo at April 23, 2006 02:43 AM

What I think is most amazing about these two photos is how you are sleeping on your back!! I very seldomly can fall asleep or stay asleep on my back. Very cute. I was thinking about you this morning, the TPOD that said something like "bad choices at 2 a.m."... we got a puppy on Friday and this morning, we brought her into our bed early this morning so we could get just a LITTLE more shuteye. Woke up a couple of hours later and thought... crap. Hope she doesn't expect to sleep here all of the time now. LOL. Posted by: Heather at April 23, 2006 11:37 AM
