You don't know how badly this picture makes me miss NC, my home! I live in FL now as my husband is in the Air Force, but this picture just looks so much like home!!

Oh Yes Trixie---Share those dandelion seeds with everyone!

Good way to keep the economy going.
Scotts will appreciate it as will the nation's landscaping/lawn service programs.

I remember when I was little (back at the turn of the century), we used to pick dandelion flowers and rub them in anyones face and say ("Do you like butter?") and rub a dandelion flower in their face.
If their nose/face was yellow after that...the answer was yes.

Dumb-stupid?....yes!

I'm so glad Trixie gets to experience of all of life's little pleasures..
You parents are the best...

Take care, Debi

Hey -- I remember the butter test with dandelions, too. But for some reason you always had to rub it on your chin. The whole thing was very odd, but fun nonetheless...

I had to go look at the calendar to make sure it really was Thursday. Way to keep us on our toes! Trixie is adorable, as always.

Is she at Maple View Farms? I love that place! I make a visit out to Maple View every time I visit the RTP area.

debi,
we did that with buttercups, we held them under someones chin and asked if they liked butter, if there was a yellow shadow on their chin it meant yes. i don't get it either but don't eat buttercups, i thought they'd taste like butterscotch but they're pretty bitter. oh yea i was like 9 really i didn't like just eat one...heh
