How did she do?

I have a 21 month old that is going on her 5th flight soon. I'm dreading it since the last time she was 6 weeks old and slept the whole time.

My 6 year old still hasn't flown. I had vowed several years ago that we'd get him on a plane in the Very Near Future, but apparently that moment hasn't happened yet! Now I have the 18 month old - we can knock out two "firsts" with one flight!

Wow, only second flight? I'm jealous. My daughter had quite a few frequent flyer miles by the time she was 9 months old.

When my daughter was 15 months old, I took her down to FL to see her grandparents. I got some really odd looks on account of the enourmous backpack that held the carseat! She did great, except I kept giving her stuff to drink in the hopes of popping her ears. It worked, but she peed so much, the every inch of her was damp!

She's leaving on a jet plane. Don't know when she'll be back again. . .

Can't wait to hear about Trixie's adventure!

That looks an awful lot like the Orlando International Airport. Could Trixie be in my neck of the woods!?!?

hey "flight info" -- your kid must really be a traveler if she flew
four times in six weeks!!!

Trixie looks lovely! As always!

Jamie: thanks for running a cool blog. You've got a plug on the homepage.

Melissa: yep. It's Orlando.

john (Colum's Dad): It was one exposure with a fill flash.

Moxie - Not really, we just had to change planes once each way on a round trip to Orlando. That's our punishment for flying Southwest in TX, thanks to the
Wright Amendment, but that doesn't stop us from flying them when we can afford to. Just for the record I'm not trying to shamelessly plug Southwest like 'Sotuhwest plug' (hello 'plug' get a life).

Funny thing is I didn't even notice Trixie was at MCO and I've flown out of there a lot (like 44 times).

I'm amazed Trixie looks so well for being in FL it is usually so humid there that it can be uncomfortable.

Did Trixie go to Disney?

My husband was transferred to London when our daughter was a year old. We did chicago-London on an overnight in business class. Talk about dirty looks when we sat down! Luckily she was pretty quiet. She enjoyed the Bose noise cancelling headphones and we brought a portable DVD player for Baby Einstein videos. You can also use the Treos for this. Entertainment like this is a life saver on a long flight!

My daughter barely said "boo" on a flight from Orlando to JFK, and people were tsking left right and center. Damn, babies are people too! What did these people want me to do gag her?

When our 2-year-old daughter was 10 months old, we flew cross-country on a house-hunting trip. Someone on the plane asked if it was her first trip, and my response was, "No, it's actually her sixth!"
