Trixie is growing up so fast! I would love to hear more stories about what she is doing these days! :)

I, too, am shocked at how long her hair is. I think mine might have been that long at that age, too. However, I CUT my own hair shortly after getting my ears pierced when I was 3. I took a big huge chunk off near the front of my face and my ear (I believe it was with "baby" scissors, too!) when a babysitter was watching me and when my mom got home and asked me why I had cut my beautiful hair, I told her that it was because I couldn't see my earrings. :) I bet my mom wished she had tied my hair back that day! It could have alleviated all problems!

After that, I had a little bit of a bob-type cut. You know, it was popular in the 80s... for BOYS. My older brother had the same haircut.

Luckily, my hair was long and beautiful again by the time I started kindergarten!

Moral of the story: Keep scissors (even the baby kind!) away from Trixie while unattended.

Maybe this is how the Trixie Update ends. Trixie's image just stays frozen in time. Ben always did say he was a bit uncomfortable with the concept of continuing this after Trixie was old enough to understand it.

I'm mostly kidding, I'm guessing they are just busy.

I'm sure they're all fine. Life gets in the way of blogs sometimes, I guess.

"cooking" is certainly the right word given that expression -- I have no idea what Trixie is up to in that head of hers, but I'm sure glad it's not my kitchen she's cooking it up in.
