T-Pod has gone retro non-Trixie pics...I say they are on vacation and are too busy to post current Trixie pics or that Trixie has finally had enough of all these pics. T-Pod is over as we know it.

BRING BACK the TRIXIE part of T-POD!

What a spectacular shot! Love the colors. I live for being able to capture moments like these. I especially love the thumbnail crop, Ben.

Give Trixie a BIG hug for us!

No, there's some message here. Obviously, there's some kind of new beginning. I'm betting on the new baby thing....which could mean the Trixie Update is over. Time for the "Junior" update or whatever!

this is a really lovely sunset. I am, as many others are, very confused by all this trixie-less-ness, but nontheless it's a lovely sunset.

OK, risking ridicule again...the title is "a new day." I believe it might be a sunrise. Beautiful, isn't it? Haven't seen too many to know the difference...except the obvious east=west direction. But, when at the beach, I always tried to view that special time. Thank you Benmac for thinking of all your fans and entertaining us while on hiatus. Hope you are having a wonderful time, return safely and both you and Jen feel refreshed and sweet Trixie is well and happy. Love, Liz

LizB- I agree with the photo being a sunrise, even though I said earlier it was a sunset. The "New Day" title does imply sunrise.

Guys, look at the bottom left corner of the picture. See what it says? "Age: -6 months"

Looks to me like Trixie will be having a brother or sister in six months.

Congrats to the lucky parents and Trixie!!

Tina,

The "Age" of the picture is how old Trixie would be at the time when the picture was taken (January 25th, 2003), not when it was posted...

Benmac, you are a great photographer, we've known this for ages, but I think we forget because Trixie is so beautiful we forget good photos just don't happen when you press the shutter. I want to get a copy of this and frame it!

hey ben, jen & trixie.
we love your site.
my husband is in the US army and just deployed to iraq.
my 2 year old is having a rough time, as am i.
my daughters face lights up when she sees pictures of trixie, especially when she is a infant.
well done site.

Celebrating beautiful NYC photos in honor of the 5th anniversary of 9/11/01? That's my hunch. In any case, I don't mind the non-Trixie photos at all, and I'm amused at the wild speculation and near-demands on Ben to get back to the usual.
