Did you know that on most reading assessments, people can read the "correct" word even if the spelling is incorrect? Our brains process the first and last letters and we come up with the correct word....isn't that interesting? A well trained "reading teacher" such as my daughter could explain it more in depth; but, it's true.
Actually, I read your first post and didn't realize you spelled FUDGE = FUGDE....it looked liked fudge to me. Just a bit of trivial info.

i will miss the updates on your site.
it truly was the most up-beat & positive parenting website, great for looking at and hearing all the comments etc. when having a dreary day or what not.
you guys will be missed by many, as i can see.

I heard about that same literature and now I'm in a proofreading class and you wouldn't believe how hard it is to spot those types of errors. Sheesh
